This award will bring together community leaders and stakeholders to determine the resilience needs of coastal Lake Michigan and its associated drowned river mouth systems in West Michigan. The project will prioritize nature-based projects for future designs and implementation that will reduce the risk of coastal hazards while enhancing habitat and benefiting native wildlife.
